About Mount Kilimanjaro

Mount Kilimanjaro is Africa's highest peak at 5,895 metres (19,341 ft) and the world's tallest free-standing volcano. Located in the Kilimanjaro Region of northern Tanzania, it is one of the Seven Summits and the only one accessible to non-mountaineers — no ropes, crampons, or technical experience required. Around 50,000 climbers attempt Kilimanjaro annually with an overall summit success rate of 65–70%.
